ごめんなさい…でも、日本語を勉強しま。
I'm sorry if my website came off as offensive in any way but I live in a location with a large Japanese population so learning the language would make it easier for me to talk with those people and actually read the menus and labels at shops. A lot of the places I visit online are exclusively Japanese as well, meaning speaking/reading the language is important.
I don't feel comfortable posting my ethnicity in my about-me section, nor my location, because this is the internet. However, I am not Japanese nor am I from Japan, and I am not attempting to pass it off as though I am.
I wasn't aware speaking a language that wasn't in your own tongue was considered offensive.
My site is in Japanese on a predominantly English speaking website because I want to meet other people who speak the language and can learn with me.
Once again, I'm sorry. But I'm not going to stop learning this language I've been learning on-and-off for the past 5 years just because you told me to.
